50 min Initial Intake Session: A 50-minute clinical session that includes assessment of presenting concerns, review of client history, discussion of therapeutic goals, and development of an initial treatment plan.

50 min - This session follows your initial intake and continues the therapeutic work we have begun. We will explore your goals in greater depth, build on previous insights, and integrate strategies that support meaningful, sustainable change. Each session is tailored to your needs and grounded in a collaborative, supportive therapeutic process.

50 min - This session is for clients who previously worked with Kerri at another therapy clinic and are continuing their treatment plan at Revive Counselling & Wellness. We will review your current concerns, update any relevant history, and continue the therapeutic work we began together. This appointment maintains continuity of care while supporting your ongoing goals within a familiar and consistent therapeutic relationship.

Modalities

CBT helps you identify and change negative thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. You'll learn practical strategies to challenge unhelpful thinking and develop healthier behaviours. Sessions focus on present-day problems and teach you skills you can use immediately. This approach is convenient for anxiety, depression, and stress management.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

EFT helps couples identify negative patterns and create secure emotional bonds. You'll learn to recognize the cycle that keeps you stuck and develop new ways of connecting. This approach is based on attachment science and has strong research support for improving relationship satisfaction.

EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy)

ACT helps you accept complex thoughts and feelings while taking action aligned with your values. Rather than fighting against unwanted experiences, you'll learn mindfulness skills to observe them without being controlled by them. This approach emphasizes psychological flexibility and is particularly helpful for anxiety, chronic pain, and feeling stuck in life patterns.

ACT (Acceptance & Commitment)

IFS helps you understand and harmonize the different 'parts' of your personality. You'll learn to access your core Self—a calm, compassionate center—and help wounded parts heal. This approach is compelling for trauma, internal conflict, and self-criticism.

IFS (Internal Family Systems)

These approaches integrate meditation and mindfulness practices to help you develop a different relationship with complex thoughts and feelings. You'll learn to observe experiences without judgment and respond more skillfully to challenges. Regular practice helps reduce stress and prevent relapse of depression or anxiety.
